Our official (as in formal) name is Nusii Proposals, S.L. (from here on referred to as “Nusii”) What you have before your eyes is the most current published version of our notice with regards to privacy and the protection of the personal data we process in the course of our business activities.

Or… to put it another way, everything you need to know about how we deal with your personal data.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE KINDLY NOTE: You must be at least 16 years of age to use our website and any services provided through it; If you are under 16 years of age please do not use our services and do not send us your personal information.

The owner of the website Nusii.com and every database used to provide our services is Nusii Proposals, S.L.

NUSII PROPOSALS, S.L. is a Spanish limited company. (As in Spain in EUROPE… 😉 Our registered office address is the following: Valdemorillo - Madrid (28210), Avenida Palacios 23. Our C.I.F. (VAT Id) is B- 87346920.

Our company is registered in Madrid’s Mercantile Registry (“Registro Mercantil de Madrid”) with the following data: Tomo 33.928, Folio 101, Hoja M-610572.

Nusii provides an on-line Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that our customers use to design, submit and track proposals to its clients or potential clients. In providing this platform, Nusii processes data that our customers submit to our services or instruct us to process on their behalves. While Nusii’s customers ultimately decide which data to submit, it typically includes information about their clients, sales leads, etc, such as contact information, purchases, and billing information. We process such information in order to be able to provide you with our services.

As part of our marketing strategy, we at Nusii send a newsletter every now and then and we also develop and make available for free from time to time at our website free resources and tools (“Goodies”). In order to access or download such Goodies, we might ask you to subscribe to our newsletter and/or to provide us with limited contact information for marketing purposes.

In both scenarios described above, the legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your informed consent. This is: You provide us with your informed (if you read the legalese) consent, in the process of providing us with any personal data.

Long story short:

  • In the case that you’re not yet a customer of Nusii, but you have in any way or manner subscribed to our newsletter or downloaded any of our Goodies, we use your personal data to contact you every now and then with such newsletter or marketing offers… (Thank you for reading! ;)

  • If you’re already one of our happy customers, we use your data to be able to provide you with our services.

You always have the possibility to manage your data within your registered account with Nusii (online proposal creation and management tool).

How does our online platform work and why do we need your personal data?

Nusii’s software offers you the possibility to create and manage your business’s sales proposals, allowing you to better sell your services to clients and potential clients.

The service can be broadened at some point in the future as we try new things, but in essence this is what we do!

All of our services rely on you being a registered user.

How we use your data:

As mentioned above, we need your personal data to facilitate and maintain your role as a registered user of Nusii, and in the case that you’re not yet a customer and you subscribed to our newsletter, to be able to send you our newsletter and/or free content…

Please note: If you don’t send your personal data though one of our freebie or newsletter forms, the only thing we know about you is what the analytics tools we use (Fathom Analytics) tell us.

Our website uses cookies and other tracking and analytics software to: distinguish between our users, compile information about user behaviour on our sites. This information is used to track interactions on our websites and help us to provide a better user experience when visiting our products and websites. It also helps us to compile statistical reports regarding web visitors and how our website is used.

The majority of browsers allow a certain amount of control to reduce or block cookies directly by using the browser settings, however, if you switch off cookies it’s possible that this will affect certain areas of our website and services. If you’re a registered user, we need at the very least a cookie to keep you logged into our platform while you are using it.

Registered Users / What information do we need from you?

The personal information we ask for within any of our signup forms is the bare minimum necessary to create and maintain an account with Nusii or to use any of its services.

For example:

  • Creating an account as a Nusii customer.
  • Downloading any of our marketing freebies or taking one of our email courses (white papers, ebooks, PDF’s etc) or giveaways.

Who has access to your data?

We don’t pass your data to anyone who is not strictly necessary to the running of Nusii. Here’s a complete list of services that we use to run our platform:

  • ProfitWell: Payment analytics and Dunning service.
  • Github: Source code storage
  • AWS: Nusii app hosting
  • Crunchy Data: Database hosting
  • Honeybadger: Error Tracking
  • Cloudinary: Image hosting
  • Helpscout: Support and communication system with customers
  • UserList: Email marketing (newsletter etc) and communications
  • Docraptor: PDF generator
  • Postmark: Email server system
  • Quaderno: Invoicing platform
  • Fastmail: Email services
  • Domain: Domain management service
  • Fathom: Web analytics tool

This is a list that will vary in the future… We only share data with these services as they are necessary to provide full functionality of Nusii. If you don’t agree with any of this, you can always exercise your rights regarding your data. (Please note that such actions might entail leaving our platform altogether. See below for more information).

International transfers of data

The Nusii website (application) is hosted on the cloud infrastructure of Amazon Web Services (AWS), an American corporation based in Seattle, Washington. The database is managed by Crunchy Data Solutions, Inc., an American corporation.

Crunchy Data provides managed PostgreSQL database services with data stored in AWS data centers. For more information on Crunchy Data’s privacy practices, please visit https://www.crunchydata.com/privacy

Compelled disclosure: Please kindly note that Nusii, AWS and/or Crunchy Data may be required, at any time, to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

How long your data will be stored for:

When your account with Nusii is cancelled, all data associated to that account is deleted within 30 days. After such period of time, the account is permanently cancelled, and thus your data cannot be retrieved. However, if you have used any of our forms to download a freebie or for instance to use a free course, then your email will be retained until you cancel the subscription to that service.

Should you need to contact us to make any changes or request that your personal data be removed, we will do this in the shortest possible amount of time. The maximum time limit for this process to be executed will be 30 days.

Should you continue to maintain any kind of contractual relationship with Nusii (as a customer, or user of our freebies or courses etc.) your data will be stored for the time that is stipulated in the corresponding agreement, as stated above.

Your rights and your data.

What are your rights in relation to your personal data?

You have a whole bunch of rights when it comes to what we do with your data, and you can exercise these rights whenever you choose to do so:

  • Right to access. You can at any time inquire over the personal data that we use at Nusii.
  • Right to modify your personal data.
  • Right to delete your personal data (). The right to be forgotten.
  • Right to limit how your data is used ().
  • Right to oppose our processing of your data (). You can choose to completely remove your data from Nusii. (Save for any contractual/tax data that we might be required to keep.)
  • You can also request a copy of all the personal data we use to run your Nusii account.

(*)Any of the above actions will imply the cancellation of your Nusii account.

You can exercise any of these rights, along with the rest of the rights recognized by the GDPR normative, by writing an email in which you should indicate what it is you’d like to amend/request, to: legal@nusii.com
