Prospero alternative
The Prospero alternative with proposals on your own domain
Prospero is a simple, low-cost proposal tool, but every link it sends is on app.goprospero.com. With Nusii, your proposals live on your own domain, without our branding, and your brand is set once for everyone on your team.
The short version
- Prospero
- P Prospero, made by the software company Poptin, is a proposal tool for freelancers and small agencies. One plan includes every feature, with no limit on proposals: a drag-and-drop editor with more than 100 templates, viewing time and section analytics, reminder emails to your client, and payments before or after signing. It's $19 per user a month, billed monthly.
- Nusii
- Nusii puts your business in front of your client, not your software. On Agency and up, proposals live on your own domain without Nusii branding, and your brand is set once for the whole team. Your client can accept, decline or ask a question, and three people pay $49 a month.
Choose Prospero if you work alone or in pairs and want the lowest price with no limit on proposals, or want to see how long clients spend on each section. Choose Nusii if you want every proposal on your own domain and brand, set once for the team, for less from three people.
With a sub-domain, it looks way more professional in front of business owners. I think it adds some kind of ‘social proof’ that you’re a serious operator.

Why switch
Why people look for an alternative to Prospero
Prospero gives a freelancer a lot for $19 a month. As a team grows, what starts to matter is how the proposals look to clients: whose name is on the link, and whether every proposal stays on brand.
-
1
Every link is on goprospero.com
Prospero has no custom domain or white label, so every proposal your client opens is on app.goprospero.com.
-
2
Brand changes don’t reach your templates
Fonts changed in Settings only reach new proposals started from scratch. The templates you already have are changed one by one, in the editor.
-
3
Your client can’t say no
Prospero's own guide says clients can't reject a proposal, so a no has to reach you some other way.
-
4
Every seat is $19
The plan went from $10 to $19 per user a month in 2025, and each person you add costs the same $19.
Your brand
Your name on every proposal, set up once
Proposals on your own domain, without our branding
Prospero has no custom domain or white label. Its help center says it's planned, but today every proposal your client opens is on app.goprospero.com, and you can only change a prefix in the link.
On Nusii's Agency and Business plans, proposals live on your own domain, like proposals.yourstudio.com. Add it in Settings, point one DNS record at Nusii, and every link you send uses it. Tick one box and the Nusii branding comes off your proposals and emails, and with your own sending domain, the emails come from your address too.
When I was looking for a proposal app 4 years ago, I was trying to find a software which was customisable, easy to use, and pleasing to the eye. Nusii fit the bill and the fact that it also offers a white-label option with custom domain is a big plus.

Custom Domain
Start sending proposals via your own domain
By default your domain is currently https://junipermarketing.nusii.com. To use your own domain (For example: https://proposals.junipermarketing.com) we first need to add a couple of records to your website's DNS.
Please type your desired url below.
proposals.yourwebsite.com proposals.junipermarketing.com
Add Custom Domain
1) Go to the DNS settings of https://junipermarketing.com and create a CNAME attribute pointing 'proposals' (or any other subdomain you want e.g. quotes) to 'secure.nusii.com'.
2) Check back later to verify your DNS settings have been updated by clicking 'Verify Custom Domain'.

General Settings
Hide Nusii branding on proposals and emails
Set your brand once. Every proposal follows.
Prospero gives you a lot to design with: layouts, cover sizes, columns, galleries and your own fonts, set in each proposal. Fonts changed in Settings only reach new proposals started from scratch, so the templates you have are updated one by one.
In Nusii, design is one settings page: your logo, a Classic or Modern layout, two fonts from a handpicked 12 and your colors. Set it once, and every proposal from everyone on your team comes out on brand, on any screen.
Now we build from reusable sections, so every proposal looks professional and on-brand, and the team spends less time formatting and more time on the actual scope.

Point by point
Nusii vs Prospero, point by point

After you send
A clear answer from your client, and Claude or ChatGPT on your drafts
Your client can say no, or ask a question
In Prospero, your client can sign, but its own guide says clients can't reject a proposal. When the answer is no, you mark it declined yourself, once you find out.
In Nusii, your client accepts, or opens Other Actions to reject the proposal with a message or ask for more information. You get an email either way, and replying to a question goes straight to your client. A no with a reason tells you what to change next time, and a question tells you the deal is still alive.
It’s perfect that we can see if and when the receiver reads our proposal, select pricing options, and accept or decline the proposal. The weekly update of our sales activities and accepted/declined proposals, gives us a good overview of our goals.

Claude or ChatGPT, working on your proposals
Prospero has an AI writing assistant inside its editor, for text and images. It has no MCP server and no public API, so an assistant like Claude or ChatGPT can't work in your account: automation goes through Zapier, Make and webhooks.
Nusii MCP connects Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Microsoft Copilot to your proposals on every plan. Ask for a draft from your template, change the pricing in a sentence, then review and send it in Nusii. Assistants only work on drafts: sending is always done by you. The API, webhooks, a CLI and SDKs come with every plan too.
See the Nusii API, the CLI and Nusii MCP.
I’ve been using Nusii for years and I’ve closed thousands of dollars of contracts with it. Clients appreciate the well formatted and nicely designed proposals that Nusii produces. It makes the process of going from pitch to signed contract very straightforward. The new MCP integration is also very clutch now that I can have proposals written from within Claude.

Which should you use?
An honest answer: it depends on how you sell
P Stick with Prospero if…
- You work alone or with one other person and want the lowest price, with no limit on proposals.
- You want to see how long clients spend on each section.
- You want reminder emails to go to your client automatically.
- You take payment before your client signs, or use Square.
- You like designing each proposal, with columns, galleries and your own fonts.
- You build your site on Wix or run your sales in monday.com.
Good fit: A freelancer or two-person studio that wants every feature for the lowest price and likes to see how long clients read.
What Prospero does well
- Every feature on one plan, with no limit on proposals
- Viewing time, a heatmap of the sections read and time per page
- Reminder emails to your client, and scheduled sending
- Payments by Stripe or Square, before or after signing
- A drag-and-drop editor with 100+ templates, and PDF or Word import
Choose Nusii if…
- You want proposals on your own domain, without your software's branding.
- You'd rather set your brand once than design each proposal.
- You want to know when a client says no, and why.
- Your team is three people or more.
- You want Claude or ChatGPT working with your proposals.
Good fit: An agency or consultancy of three or more that wants every proposal on its own domain and brand, without anyone designing them.
The trade-offs
- No viewing time or section analytics: you see opens, downloads, acceptance and payment
- Reminders go to you, not to your client
- Fewer design options: a theme, your colors and two fonts
- Active proposals at a time: 5 on Freelancer, 20 on Agency, 50+ on Business
- Your own domain, no Nusii branding, reminders and Stripe need Agency
- The free trial asks for a credit card (with a 60-day money-back guarantee)
Switching
Moving from Prospero to Nusii
Your proposals come with you as content. Copy your best one in once, add your domain and your brand, and the sections and prices you reuse become templates, sections and line items.
What comes with you
- Your proposals and templates
- Copy your best proposal into Nusii once and save it as a template. Its sections stay sections, ready for every proposal after it.
- Your content library
- The sections you've saved in Prospero's library become sections you drop into any Nusii proposal.
- Your pricing
- Price table items become line items. Items your client ticks become optional line items, and packages become options your client picks one of.
What works differently
- How you design
- There's no drag and drop, columns or galleries. You set your logo, a Classic or Modern layout, two fonts and your colors once, and the theme does the rest.
- How you follow up
- Nusii reminds you, not your client, when a proposal is still waiting, and tells you when it's opened, accepted, declined or questioned.
- What you track
- You'll see when your client opens your email and your proposal, downloads the PDF, accepts and pays, but not how long they viewed it.
How we help
- Most people are set up within a day.
- We'll jump on a call to help set up your account, your domain and your first template.
- Free proposal templates to start from if you'd rather not copy your own.

A few years back, we realised that we needed a more consistent approach to proposals other than a simple email. We found Nusii, and it’s been a breath of fresh air, easy for both our team and our prospective clients to use and understand.

Simple to get set up and use. I’ve tried other proposal tools and clients found them complicated and hard to understand. Nusii is straightforward and gives me everything that I need to get clients to proposals created and signed. Happy and thankful customer.

Frequently asked questions
Nusii vs Prospero: your questions
What’s the difference between Nusii and Prospero?
Both build proposals your client reads online, picks options in and signs. Nusii puts your business in front: on Agency and up, proposals live on your own domain without Nusii branding, your brand is set once for the team, and your client can decline or ask a question. Prospero, the proposal software made by Poptin, gives you more design control, tracks how long clients read each section and sends reminder emails to your client, on one plan with no limit on proposals.
Is Nusii cheaper than Prospero?
From three people, yes. Prospero is $19 per user a month, so three people pay $57; Nusii's Agency plan is $49 for three, then $19 for each extra user, so five pay $87 against $95. On your own or with two people, Prospero costs less: $19 or $38, against $29 on Nusii Freelancer or $49 on Agency, and Prospero has no limit on proposals. Prices as of October 2026, billed monthly.
Can I send Prospero proposals from my own domain?
No. Prospero's help center says it doesn't offer a custom domain or white label yet, so every link is on app.goprospero.com; you can only change a prefix in the link. On Nusii's Agency and Business plans, proposals live on your own domain, like proposals.yourstudio.com, and you can hide Nusii's branding on proposals and emails.
Can my client decline a proposal?
In Nusii, yes. Under Other Actions your client can reject the proposal and leave a message, or request more information, and you get an email either way. Prospero's own guide says clients can't reject a proposal there: you mark it declined yourself.
Can Nusii show how long a client viewed my proposal?
No, and that's a trade-off. Nusii shows when your client opens the email and the proposal, on which device, when they download the PDF, and when they accept and pay. Prospero records how long a client viewed the proposal, a heatmap of the sections they read and, since July 2026, the time on each page.
Does Nusii send reminders to my client?
No. On Agency and Business, Nusii reminds you when a proposal is still waiting after the days you pick, so you can follow up in your own words. Prospero can email reminders to your client automatically.
Can my clients pay before they sign?
In Nusii, your client pays after they sign: connect Stripe and set a deposit or the full amount, and they're asked to pay right after signing, in the same visit, on Agency and Business. Prospero takes payment by Stripe, Square or your own payment link, before or after signing.
Can I use ChatGPT or Claude with Nusii, and with Prospero?
With Nusii, yes, on every plan. Nusii MCP connects Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Microsoft Copilot to your account, so you can draft proposals from your templates, update pricing and ask about your pipeline. Assistants only work on drafts: sending is always done by you. Prospero has an AI writing assistant inside its editor, but no MCP server or public API, so an assistant can't work in your account.
Can I show my proposals in my client’s language?
Yes. In Nusii you set a default language for your proposals and a different one for any client, and your client sees the buttons, labels and dialogs in their language. Prospero has 14 proposal languages, Hebrew written right to left among them, set for the proposals you create.
Does Nusii work with my CRM and invoicing tools?
Nusii connects to HubSpot, Pipedrive, OnePageCRM and Less Annoying CRM, and to hundreds more tools, QuickBooks and FreshBooks among them, through Zapier and Make. It also works with Stripe, Slack, Basecamp and seven live chat tools. CRM integrations and Stripe come with Agency and Business, and the API and webhooks with every plan.
How do I move from Prospero to Nusii?
Copy your best proposal into Nusii and save it as a template: its sections stay sections and its prices become line items. Set your branding and your domain once, connect Stripe if you take deposits, and you're ready. Most people are set up within a day, and we'll jump on a call to help.
