Public domain emails

You cannot verify a public domain email (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) as your own sending domain. This is for one simple reason: you cannot modify a public provider’s DNS settings. To send from your own address, you must use a privately owned domain, i.e.: myname@mydomain.com

You can still use a public domain address on your sender profile. In that case Nusii sends your proposal emails from proposal@nusii.com, with your address set as the Reply-To, so replies still reach you.

To send from your own domain instead:

  1. Add your address as a sender profile under Settings / Sender Profiles.
  2. Verify your domain under Settings / Sending Domains. Our Sending Domain guide walks you through the DNS records.

Please note that any changes made to your DNS can take up to 48 hours to be reflected. This is out of our control. If your domain still hasn’t been verified after this time, please contact us and we’ll do our very best help you.
